13. Ickli Ick

At the end of the pipe is a machine.

The machine is turning the water into ice.

The ice is being shot into the sky.

There is someone by the machine. She says her name is Ickli Ick.

"Our machine is stuck," she says. "We cannot turn it off."

Midge asks, "Why are you turning the water into ice?"

"So that our new spaceship pilots have something to fly around," says Ickli Ick. "But now we have too much ice."

"And we don't have enough sea," says Curly.

"I can stop your machine," says Midge. "I will use some magic."

Midge closes his eyes, waves his arms and the machine soon stops throwing ice into the sky.

"Hooray!" everyone cries.

"Thank you," says Ickli Ick. "Now we can go home."

Midge asks Ickli Ick what will happen to the ice.

"I will bring it back," she says.
